Succorfish

As an industry leader in the manufacture of customized vehicle tracking and marine asset management solutions; Succorfish required a comprehensive enterprise level software solution that could handle its complete client side and internal services. In brief the solution had to facilitate the real-time tracking and monitoring of vehicles, construction equipment, boats, and specialized marine vehicles on a global basis. The solution was built on Asp.Net with a SQL DB operating with SSRS and SSAS. Pyxle further assists in the development of a GPS tracking device known as “Succorpod” enabling tracking and mapping of vehicles.

From ship operators and deep sea fishing fleets to a single jet-ski user, Succorfish works on the needs and operational requirements of large commercial and private marine clients.

This UK-based client wanted Pyxle to develop a software that could daily track and display the tracking device on a global map as it is being used in a real-time environment. This requirement was quite complex and required a dynamic software / hardware solution that could handle its complete client side and internal services.

Pyxle has successfully developed Succorpod, a GPS tracking device that can be fitted into vehicles, construction equipment, boats, and specialized marine vehicles on a global basis. The solution was developed on ASP.NET with a SQL database operating with SSRS and SSAS. The output was duly completed and the client was able to do the following from the head office or other remote location:

  • Track and map each vehicle as it is being used
  • Find the route taken by each vehicle
  • Have a record of the speed and direction at any time
  • Have a Kill-Switch to shut the vehicle down if necessary
  • Integrate all data into a central database
  • Create / Manage various KPI reports
